- Google's SigLIP, language-image pretraining with a simple pairwise sigmoid loss instead of CLIP's softmax contrastive loss, which works on image-text pairs alone without global normalization, scales to larger batches and also does better at small ones; a SigLiT model trained on four TPUv4 chips reached 84.5% ImageNet zero-shot accuracy in two days, and the models are released in Google's big_vision repository.
