- R · What Makes It Special
- DINOv2, Meta AI's method for training computer vision models with self-supervised learning, which Meta called the first to match or beat the field's standard approach: it learns from any collection of images, without labels or captions, yielding general features that need no fine-tuning for classification, segmentation, retrieval and depth estimation. Meta trained a 1.1B-parameter ViT-g/14 on 142 million curated images, distilled it into ViT-S, ViT-B and ViT-L models and open-sourced them.
