- YandexGPT, Yandex's large language model, launched in May 2023 in its Alice virtual assistant: it generates and processes text, performs tasks, suggests ideas and keeps conversation context, and Yandex used it to summarize articles in Yandex Browser, condense product reviews in Search and Market and draft product descriptions for Market sellers. YandexGPT 2 followed in September 2023, and in December 2023 Yandex opened the YandexGPT API in Yandex Cloud to businesses worldwide.
