- LMSYS's Vicuna, an open chatbot introduced March 30, 2023 that fine-tuned Meta's LLaMA on about 70,000 user-shared ChatGPT conversations from ShareGPT with a 2,048-token context; the 13B model trained in a day on eight A100 GPUs for about $300 and, in a preliminary test judged by GPT-4, reached more than 90% of ChatGPT and Bard quality. Weights were released for non-commercial use, and the August 2023 v1.5 moved to Llama 2 with 4K and 16K contexts.
