- Runway's Gen-3 Alpha Turbo, released to all plans on August 14, 2024 as a version of Gen-3 Alpha that Runway said generated 7x faster for half the price while matching its performance in many use cases; it later gained extensions up to 34 seconds, video to video, first, middle and last keyframes, camera control and Act-One, and in September 2024 it became the first model offered through the Runway API. Runway retired it on July 30, 2026.
