- AI Singapore's SEA-LION (Southeast Asian Languages in One Network), a family of open models built for Southeast Asia's languages and cultures: v1 (3B and 7B) was pre-trained from scratch, later versions continue pre-training or fine-tune Llama, Gemma, Qwen and NVIDIA Nemotron bases, v4 added image input with up to 256K context, and the September 2026 v4.8 brought its first mixture-of-experts models and coverage of 13 regional languages, alongside SEA-LION embedding and SEA-Guard safety models.
