- Sailor2, a community-driven family of open multilingual language models for Southeast Asia from Sea AI Lab, in 1B, 8B and 20B sizes expanded from Qwen2.5's 0.5B, 7B and 14B base models: continually pretrained on 500 billion tokens, it covers 15 languages, from English, Chinese, Indonesian, Thai and Vietnamese to Burmese, Khmer, Lao, Cebuano, Ilocano and Waray. It was built with model expansion, optimized data mixing, multi-stage pretraining and multilingual post-training, under Apache 2.0.
