- CAMB.AI's MARS5, an open English text-to-speech model built for hard prosody such as sports commentary and anime: a two-stage pipeline in which an autoregressive transformer predicts coarse EnCodec features and a multinomial diffusion (DDPM) model fills in the rest, cloning a voice from a 2 to 12 second reference (about 6 seconds works best), with an optional 'deep clone' using the reference transcript and prosody steered by punctuation and capitalization.
