- Black Forest Labs' FLUX.1 [schnell] (August 1, 2024), the fastest of the original FLUX.1 models: a 12B-parameter rectified flow transformer for text-to-image, built from hybrid multimodal and parallel diffusion transformer blocks and trained with latent adversarial diffusion distillation to make high-quality images in 1 to 4 steps. It is released under Apache 2.0 for personal, scientific and commercial use, and BFL said it outperformed Midjourney v6.0 and DALL-E 3 (HD).
